Youre both right about the soup!
Jimmy's right because hearing that youre eating a commercially made soup while youre eating it decreases the pleasure of the experience (everyone likes to imagine that they are partaking of a unique, special gastronomical experiece, & when you are disabused of this notion, you cant help but seek to taste what makes the dish commercial & common, & therefore less special than you had previously thought).
But Todd is also right in that a person who has been served good tasting food by a friend really shouldnt have such a stick up their ass about it not being prepared with the realm's finest & most exotic ingredients by the royal court's kitchen & fit for a godhead. Jesus, Jimmy, get a fucking grip. Anybody that invested in their own outrageous selfish wants, as opposed to being thankful to partake of some delicious-enough food prepared with love by a friend, ought to never force themselves to sit down at their table again. Ungrateful curs that they would be.
This podcast turned rather unpleasant due mostly to your beligerant hectoring & the weird dynamic of you & StephenA to gang up on Todd over what you perceive as his psychological short-comings. I get that youre supposedly his dear friends but come the fuck on; you two make him out to be an emotional basket case who needs a reeducation from the Stable, Happy Role Model CoupleTM.
The way you two sometimes pile on & browbeat him is really gross & cringe-worthy, & yeah, like this time, downright creepy.

You frequently issue a call for a conservative to recognize and acknowledge the ignorance and foolishness of right wingers like Glenn Beck, crying lady, and of course the satire of Moron. Well, I am a 21 year old, black conservative who does hold to some of the basic principles of conservatism, but I do not agree with the fear mongering, hypocrisy, and lies of the "far right." However, there are just as many far left crazy's as there are far right. I don't think the president is a socialist, but I would like to know what you guys (and girl) think about the footage of the kindergarten class singing praises to Obama. There is no denying that this is wrong. And if you do deny it I would love to hear your reasoning.

yeah. youre a black conservative & 12 yrs old. you must be, because if you arent then you would know that this has been a photo op for every president since Ike. it's a sign of respect, & furthermore, those kids are aping what their parents have said in their homes, like they do at that age...& what their parents undoubted felt was deep relief & some gratitude for having this guy as president, after the last 8 years.
