I'm a pretty big fan of this show, but Jimmy's 9/11 rant had me rolling my eyes. Ignoring the entire lack of any substantiated evidence that 9/11 was an inside job, I've just got to ask two questions:
1. If the towers fell because of controlled demolition, how stupid would the conspirators have to be to just blow up a tower that wasn't hit by an airplane? Did they just have some TNT left over that they didn't want to waste?
2. If 9/11 was an inside job, why don't I and the rest of the "naive" people think that Iraq was responsible? The Bush administration lied us into Iraq by connecting it to 9/11; shouldn't they have made the connection a lot stronger at their secret conspiracy meetings?
I would love to have Jimmy address these questions on a future show.

I want to clarify that I submitted my first comment midway through listening to the episode. Obviously, David Feldman already brought up one of my questions. This comment is also being sent midway through listening, hopefully my other question won't be brought up so I don't look like a complete idiot.
Jimmy, here you go.

People are working very hard to debunk the 911 was an Inside Job meme.
Personally, I think that the 9-11 Commission report was a white-wash. But a white-wash of massive incompetence on the part of the FBI and other law enforcement agencies to adequately investigate the 911 purpetrators before 911. And probably also a cover-up of the incompentance that led to the slow response in intercepting the 2nd and 3rd planes. And then covering up the complete fabrication of the likely shoot down of United 93.
But there's no way that 911 was an inside job.

I have to applaud the addition of the new segment that asks guests about what inspires them, or more so what they learned (at college) that they still value. David Feldman's flat statement "read" hits the nail on the head.
I will disagree with Jimmy on the value of his college experience. He would probably not have such a firm grasp on business and political shenanigans if it were not for his business education. Comedy, or any art, that is not about something can only be about itself. What is more boring than a painting that is just about paint? Or how else would he so quickly be able to see how sending bumper stickers to all new subscribers to Feldman's podcast could be a bit of a problem?
....which reminds me that I need to subscribe fast.

First, let me say I'm really disappointed.
Jimmy, I expected much better from you concerning your 9/11 mini-rant. I would have thought you of all people would have a little more in the critical thinking department and would have a little more of a skeptical/scientific approach to topics such as 9/11 and the twin towers.
Do some actual research!!! I hate to point it out, but the mind set of these 9/11 conspiracy folks mimics those of the extremely religious. Ironic, isn't it.
Jimmy, for starters, try Googling "Michael Shermer and 9/11" and then go from there. Do a little reading and perhaps you'll see how almost every '9/11 conspiracy theory' gets debunked, time and time again.
Don't let you blind hate for the right wing blind you from the actual facts and science.
Secondly and sadly, after this I am unsubscribing from the podcast. I made it as far as 19:43 of the latest episode and that brought me to the end of my time as a C & EE fan. I've been listening to the show for approx. 4 or 5 months and this is it. I don't have time for people that buy into the lunacy that is a '9/11 conspiracy.' What's next Jimmy, buying into the 'moon hoax' or 'big foot' or maybe even 'psychics'?
Good bye Todd. Good bye Stefane. Good luck Jimmy. I'll miss the show.

Hey,
Mike K, I konw how you feel when a hero lets you down. One time I waited outside the dressing room door all day just to get an autograph from Danny Kaye. Then when he finally came out I ran up to him and he told me to beat it. I was crushed.
Wait, that was George Carlin, not me.
But to everyone else I promise to never ever ever talk about something ever again unless I have fully and exhaustively researched it first.
BTW, the popular mechanics article is pretty weak on bldg 7.

Jimmy,
If that is indeed you that posted the reply, I sincerely appreciate it.
I think I'll get back on board the C & EE podcast and give the show another shot. The show has always given me laughs and things to think about in the past and perhaps I reacted a little to quickly and harshly on the unsubscribing.
However, please, I ask you, watch the conspiracy topics, etc. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ... ummmm ... ahhhhh ... I won't get fooled again. Damn you Bush!
Cheers!
